Oklahoma City voters said Yes to MAPS 3

Oklahoma City residents showed their support to continue the momentum of City growth by voting Yes to the MAPS 3 initiative. Unofficial election results put MAPS 3 passing with more than 54 percent of the vote.

“We are pleased with our citizens’ vote of confidence,” Mayor Mick Cornett said.  “Passing this MAPS initiative was a significant step forward for our city’s economy and quality of life.  It assures the momentum will continue,” he said.

The $777 million MAPS projects include a world-class park, rail-based transit, a new convention center, sidewalks, trails, health and wellness centers for seniors, improvements at the State Fairgrounds and improvements on the Oklahoma River.

Information on MAPS 3 will continue to be added at www.okc.gov/maps3.
