Explore OKC with Road Scholars - Educational Field Trip Transportation!

Let METRO Transit take care of the transportation on your next field trip. With METRO Transit’s Road Scholars program, field trips are exciting and educational from the start.

There are many attractions around the Oklahoma City Metro Area to explore. When you ride with METRO Transit, you add to your adventure by giving your students a sense of independence. You can also teach them how public transportation helps to keep the environment clean and saves money in parking, gasoline, insurance and car maintenance.

The Road Scholars program is the smart way to transport for schools, scout troops, student groups, sport teams, community centers and more.

Pick a Place
Decide where and when you want to take your class. Field trips should take place between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM weekdays and must be roundtrip.

Do a headcount
Determine how many lucky students and teachers will be riding. We recommend groups of 25 or less. If your class is larger, please call. We will do what we can to accommodate your group.

Schedule a Trip
Three weeks prior to your trip, fill out and fax, mail or hand carry the downloadable form. Then at least one week before your trip, either mail or hand carry your check made payable to METRO Transit to:
