How much does it cost to ride the bus?

Standard fare is $1.25 one-way for the Oklahoma City Metro area and $2.25 one-way from OKC to Norman

Children under 6 ride free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Reduced fare programs are available for students, seniors and persons with a disability. Program details are available online, calling 235-RIDE or visiting the Transit Center.

How do I pay?

As you board the bus, insert your buss pass or money into the fare box. You may use dollar bills or coins.

If I use cash, will the driver give back change?

It is advised to carry the exact fare, as the fare box does not make change. If you do not have the exact fare, the fare box will apply your change to a cash card with a credit toward a future ride.

Can I get money back from the cash card?

Cash cards may be applied to the fare for future bus rides but are not redeemable for cash.

Can children in strollers ride the bus?

Yes, however children will have to be removed from their stroller and held. The stroller must be stowed between the seats, out of the aisle.

Where/how do I locate a bus stop?

Bus stops are located near any far corner of the bus route.

How early do the buses run? How late do they run?

Schedule times vary per route, however many buses leave the Transit Center as early as 5:30 am. There are several routes that leave the transit center on an outbound schedule as late as 5:30 pm.

What does "Inbound" and Outbound mean?

The terms "Inbound" and "Outbound" refer to direction of travel.

Inbound refers to travel from an outlying destination point in toward the downtown Transit Center.

Outbound refers to travel from the Transit Center out to destination points.

Is there a booklet that shows all the bus routes and schedule times?

Not at this time. Individual schedules are available online and at the Transit Center.

Is a System Map available?

Yes, a System Map is available online for free or one can be purchased for $1 at the Transit Center.
